Is there room in the bag to add my own items?

Yes. Approximately 1/3rd of the volume of the bag is available to add your own select items you'd like carry with you on your adventure!
What does it mean that the bag is "recycled"?

"Once upon a time, I was a bottle"... Our bag is made from recycled, post consumer plastic. 1% of the sales of the bag goes to nonprofits dedicated to protecting the planet. Pretty cool, huh?
What the heck is the Duct Tape in there for?

Duct Tape is The Adventurer's best friend: 1) Repair your tent. 2) Make a rope. 3) Reseal pre-packaged food bags. 4) Splint a broken tent or fishing pole. 5) Repair your water bottle. 6) Binding materials together for constructing a shelter. 7) Make an arm sling. 8) Affix bandages. 9) Fix your rain gear or boots. 10) We could go on indefinitely...
Why not order one of those fancy survival kits that has everything?

Having a survival kit with every item you could possibly need seems great, but do you really want to carry all that? We designed this kit with practicality in mind, including both potentially life saving and commonly needed items, and weighs in at a slim 0.75 lbs.
